The Nigeria Trade and Investment Union is the leading representative body for all trade and investment associations in Nigeria, helping our members to engage, improve and lead their sectors.
We work closely with the Government of Nigeria, as well as a huge range of partners and sponsors to help our associations deliver value for their members. Our membership is open to any trade and investment association based in Nigeria.

We are unlocking the power of trade and Investment
Nigeria Trade and Investment Union is a vital part of the Nigerian economy, representing their sector to the Government, driving standards and sharing best practice.
Since the formation of the Nigeria Trade and Investment Union in 2014, we have been at the forefront of bring different organizations together with the focus on Trade, Business and Investment in Nigeria – encouraging the development and sharing of best practice among Nigeria different trade associations and promoting the role of effective trade associations to government, industry and the wider public.
We exist to help our members learn from each other, sharing best practice and offering support across a range of the operational specialisms required to run a trade association.
Via events, publications, research and awards, we seek to drive the standards of our members and raise the profile of the outstanding contribution of trade associations to Nigeria society as a whole. We work especially closely with the Nigeria Government, and are supported by parent Ministry which the Ministry of Trade and Investment.
Since our establishment in 2014, we have been a standalone organization funded by its member and partners. Our work is overseen by the parent Ministry.
